Registration Fee

There is a $45 per student non-refundable annual registration fee, which covers administrative costs/student liability insurance for the Sept.-May school year, and reserves your place in class. This fee covers our Music, Dance and, Theatre programs - no need to pay separate registration fees! Current students are offered an "early-bird" discounted registration rate for the new upcoming school year, when registered by April 30th.

Tuition Rates 2026-2027

The dance, musical theatre, & music programs are based on a 9-month school year, running September through May.

  • All tuition rates are based on the average of 3.5 classes per month, for a 9-month period; some months have as few as (2) two weeks, others have as many as (5) five. We do not charge less for short months, nor do we charge you more for long months.

  • Public School holidays and breaks are incorporated into our 9-month program.

  • Tuition will be paid in 9 equal monthly installments on Auto-pay, 2-semester installments or a full-year payment.

Group classes

Dance

Dance Arts Studio offers a family-friendly tiered tuition structure designed to reward students who take multiple classes.

  • 1 Class: $65 per month

  • 2 Classes: $125 per month

  • 3 Classes: $185 per month

  • 4 Classes: $245 per month

  • 5 Classes: $305 per month

  • 6 or More Classes: Unlimited Class Pass – $325 per month*

  • Discounts: Each additional class after the first receives a $5/class discount, making it more affordable for students to explore multiple styles and disciplines. Students enrolled in six or more classes are automatically placed on our Unlimited Class Pass, allowing them to take as many eligible classes as they’d like for one flat monthly rate of $325.

Tuition is charged monthly and reserves your spot in each class throughout the season.

Pointe Strengthening- $45/month

Tippy Toes Ballet- $45/month

Broadway Bound- $90/month

Private lessons 

Voice, Piano, Guitar - $1035/yr (9 equal monthly installments of $115/month)

Dance - $50/hour, $30/half-hour           

                 

Payments Options

We gladly accept the following methods of payment: 
Cash/Check for semester or year payments, merchandise and recital costumes/fees.  
Credit Card/ACH for online tuition payments only (monthly AutoPay)

*Starting Fall 2026, all credit/debit cards will be subject to a 3% surcharge. ACH Payments will have a .75% +.30/per transaction fee.

  • Monthly installments - AutoPay only - credit card or checking account. Due and drafted on the 1st of every month.

  • Semester payments - Cash or Check only due Sept. (5 mos.), Feb. (4 mos.) MAIL TO: Dance Arts Studio, 123 Bonner Ave., Morehead City, NC 28557

  • Full Year payment - Cash or Check only due Sept. (9 mos.) MAIL TO: Dance Arts Studio, 123 Bonner Ave., Morehead City, NC 28557

  • A $25 service fee will be assessed for declined cards or any payments returned for insufficient funds. If the card is declined a second time, DAS will ask for all monthly tuition as well as recital fees to be paid in cash for the remainder of the year.

  • Dance Arts Studio reserves the right to keep your credit/debit card on file and charge this card for monthly tuition each month during the studio year (September-May).

    *If a client is not on Autopay (pre-approval of Studio Director required) and tuition is not paid by the 10th of the month, a $15 late fee will be applied. If tuition is not paid within the month that it is due, there will be a $20 late fee added to past-due payments. If tuition is not paid for two months, the student will not be allowed to return to class or lessons until the account has been paid in full - Dance Arts Studio also reserves the right to cancel the student’s enrollment. These terms and conditions apply to all payments owed to Dance Arts Studio (DAS).
